The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is strengthening its strategic intelligence capability through specialised training and international partnerships designed to enhance operational effectiveness. This commitment was reinforced through the Service’s participation in the Combined Strategic Intelligence Training Programme (CSITP) at the Defense Intelligence Agency in Washington DC, United States. Conducted from 21 July to 11 September 2026, the programme brought together participants from the United States and 14 other countries.

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, emphasised the NAF’s continued commitment to building a highly skilled, interoperable and globally aligned intelligence workforce. He noted that sustained investment in professional development and international cooperation will enhance intelligence-led decision-making and strengthen the Service’s capacity to support joint and multinational operations.
