The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has further strengthened its commitment to operational safety and professional excellence with the graduation of participants of the Flight Safety Officers and Human Factors Airmen Courses at the Nigerian Air Force Institute of Safety (NAFIS), Ikpetu-Ijesha, on 8 September 2026. The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, was represented at the combined graduation ceremony by the Air Officer Commanding, Logistics Command, Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Abdul Suleh, who highlighted the importance of continuous training in equipping personnel with the knowledge and skills required to identify hazards, manage human factors and prevent avoidable incidents.

The Commandant, NAFIS, Air Commodore Gowon Sule, affirmed that the graduates are poised to apply their enhanced expertise to strengthen safety practices, improve operational reliability and sustain NAF’s readiness to fulfil its constitutional responsibilities.
