The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to continuous training and capacity building. This came during a courtesy visit by the Senior Special Assistant to the President (SSAP) on Industrial Training and Development Initiatives, Honourable Adamson Ayinde, on 30 January 2025. The visit explored collaborative opportunities in industrial training for NAF personnel, particularly those nearing retirement, with a focus on areas like aerospace technology, ICT, and agriculture. Honourable Ayinde highlighted the importance of equipping retiring personnel with practical skills for civilian life, while Air Marshal Abubakar emphasised that such initiatives align with NAF's structured approach to training, benefiting both serving and retiring personnel. Both parties expressed commitment to consolidating the partnership to enhance personnel development and contribute to national growth.
