Today, 15 November 2024, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar joined the President, C-in-C, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and the entire nation, to lay a hero, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, to rest. A man of immense courage, unwavering dedication, and selfless service, he devoted his life to protecting our nation and upholding the highest ideals of honour and integrity.

His leadership was marked by a relentless commitment to excellence, a deep sense of duty, and an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire generations of officers and personnel in the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

As we bid farewell to this gallant officer, we reflect on a life of purpose, sacrifice, and patriotism that has left an indelible mark on the history of our nation. We shall forever be inspired by his legacy.
