CHIEF OF AIRCRAFT ENGINEERING (CAcE)
1. AVM Mohammed Aminu Yakubu was born on 10 Mar 67 in Yana of Shira Local Government Area of Bauchi State. He attended the prestigious Air Force Military School in Jos, Plateau State as one of the pioneer students from Sep 80 to Jul 85. Mohammed was commissioned to the rank of Plt Offr on 22 Sep 90, after his graduation from NDA as a member of the 37 RC. He holds a BSc in Physics from the NDA and MSc in Strat Studies from NDU, Islamabad, Pakistan. He is a Fellow of Air War College, Karachi-Pakistan and recipient of several awards and medals, including the United States Legion of Merit medal. An aircraft engineer by trade, AVM MA Yakubu has served in several NAF Units in various capacities, including instructional, staff and command positions. From Dec 22 until his appointment as the Chief of Aircraft Engineering (CAcE), he was the Commandant Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna.

d. Wing Chief Engineering at PAF – from 2010 – 2012.
e. GLO at 131 Eng Gp Makurdi – from Jul 13 to Jan 14.
f. DD Eval (Ground) at HQ NAF – Jan 14 – May 14.
g. DA Washington DC – May 14 – Jun 17.

3. AVM Yakubu is married with 4 children. His hobbies include reading, travelling and meeting people.
