The first set of subscribers to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Eagle Estate project was today presented the keys to their personal houses by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Mshl Sadique Abubakar. The scheme was inaugurated about 3 months ago to cater for the post-Service housing need of NAF personnel within the other ranks cadre. Located at Bwari Area Council of Abuja, the Estate is planned to accommodate 905 units of 2-bedroom terrace and 3-bedroom detached houses.
Delivery the keys to the subscribers, Air Mshl Sadique Abubakar congratulated the beneficiaries for having their dreams of owning a house come true, while urging others who are yet to join the scheme to take advantage of the opportunity offered by the Service. Recall that the NAF Eagle Estate project was initiated by the current NAF administration to address the gap in previous NAF post-Service Housing Schemes that largely exclude personnel in the SNCO and NCO cadres. The 5 subscribers presented keys at the symbolic occasion include Air Warrant Officer Obi Francis, Master Warrant Officers Etakpa Augustine, Dyaji Labari, Onuoha Ogechi and Flight Sergeant Yusuf Amos.
